What is a binary to ipv6 converter?

learn more about this tool
This tool converts IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) addresses in binary format to IPv6 addresses in human-readable hex format. It has a couple of options for your convenience. One of them lets you specify the symbol that separates hextets in input binary string. The other lets you choose between full IPv6 form and canonical IPv6 form. Quick and powerful!

Ice Coffee IPv6
This example converts a binary IPv6 address to a hexadecimal IPv6 in canonical form. Canonical form, also known as compact form is defined in RFC5952. It's the most compact IPv6 representation as it removes trailing zeros and replaces longest sequences of multiple zeroes with a double colon.

128-bit Binary IPv6 Addresses
This example converts two different binary IPv6 addresses that contain no separators to IPv6 addresses in full, expanded form. Full form prints all hex symbols in an IPv6 address and each address is 32 symbols long. Each group is padded with zeroes to the length of 4, and double colon replacement is never used.
